17 Miracles was an AMAZING movie! It was so emotional and I felt for those people. All I have to say is that it was..... "superb"!

I Miss....
I miss soccer barefoot in the sun. I miss hours of messing around on the piano. I miss hours of fun in the sun with all my cousins. I miss flag football with friends. I miss the cleanliness. I miss you America!

Guns
Last Saturday, my brothers, my dad, a couple of his friends, and I went to the shooting range. It was the first time any of us had actually shot a gun, so it was cool. I shot two different handguns, my dad shot a shotgun and the two handguns, and my brothers shot one of the handguns. When Logan shot the gun, the kick almost made the gun hit his face. It was the same thing with Trenton. We bought 100 rounds and next time we need to buy more like 500 or 1000. It was really fun and we had a great time.
The Scout Oath and What it Means to Me
On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country: To the best of my ability, I will follow God's commandments and what I feel is right. To obey the Scout Law: to have the qualities that the Scout Law states. To help other people at all times: to do service whenever the opportunity comes and if I am in the right position to do so. To keep myself physically strong: To stay fit. To keep myself mentally awake: To not drink or consume any alcohol or harmful or things that cloud my mind. To keep myself morally straight: To keep my goals set at the eternal standards and keep my mind clean.

The Philippines
Hey guys, so I know I haven't been posting enough but hey, I forget. So anyway, three months ago we moved to Cebu City, Philippines, and it has been good and bad. First of all, most things here are very different. There are sooo many poor people, and I mean poor. There is also a lot of poverty and street/ homeless living. We have seen people going to the bathroom on the side of the street. Next, the transportation. There are also jeepneys which are their "buses". They are all privately owned, but the fees are all they same, 7 pesos to ride (about $.20) no matter how far you are going. They each have a set route so they drive that route all day, every day. There are also taxis everywhere. The rate is 40 pesos to start (about $1) and 3.5 pesos per km. When someone needs to paint a house or do construction work, they use bamboo lashed together and that is one of the reasons why scouts need to learn how to lash. Ever since we got here, our whole family (except me) has not been feeling completely O.K. The people here are not near as medically educated as the people in America. The think that the ac units make them sick, and my friend told me that if you are sweaty, and you go into an air conditioned room, you WILL get sick. People here also think of white people as better than them, which we are not, so we are always offered food during activities at the church.
There are 4 main places we ever go to. The church/ temple, Ayala, SM, and home. Ayala is one of the major malls and has 5 floors including the parking garage. SM is the other main mall and has 4 floors. Ayala has this awesome arcade/ prize place that is called Timezone. We have been there a couple times and it is pretty fun. In SM there is also an arcade and a bowling ally. When I went there it was my first time really bowling and I got a strike the first turn because I got lucky.
Our neighbor's dog had puppies and I will try to post pictures later. They had 4 of them but one died and they sold two of them, but they are very cute. The one they still have is going to be sold and looks like a little fur ball when she is running. When we have walked pass a lot of times, the last puppy is laying down in the exact same position as her mom.
Anyway, it has been fun here, but I still want to go back to the states very badly. We are planning to go back around Christmas time. I will try to keep you updated on what is happening.
